Gargoyle geckos (Rhacodactylus auriculatus) are very close relatives of crested geckos and are found on the same island of New Caledonia. Being that they are from the same area, caring for them is basically the same as cresteds. I love these geckos! Gargoyles are bigger and more docile than crested geckos and will eat CGD (crested gecko diet) or GGD (gargoyle gecko diet) by the ton. They also have a drastic color change from day to night going from almost white to dark brown with red. I currently have a red male at this time and 3 juvies. Here they are:
